Every meaningful movement begins with a purpose. For Dheerana Youth Forum, that purpose is to guide young people towards a life shaped by discipline, compassion, wisdom and service.
Established in 2026 under the auspices of Kotte Sri Naga Viharaya, Dheerana Youth Forum is a non-profit, non-political youth organisation dedicated to nurturing a responsible and well-balanced younger generation. Rooted in Buddhist values, the Forum creates opportunities for young people to grow spiritually, socially, educationally and personally while contributing meaningfully to society.
The name Dheerana — ධීරණ represents courage, determination and steadfastness. It reflects the kind of young person the Forum hopes to inspire: someone who faces challenges with confidence, acts with integrity and remains committed to what is right.

Dheerana Youth Forum focuses on the holistic development of young people through six core areas:
